Mr. Rahul Chavan Chief Executive

Mr. Rahul Chavan is a Mechanical Engineer from Mumbai University from 1997 batch. After a brief stint at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Tractor Division, Kandivali) started on his own. He was fortunate to witness implementation of SAP at M&M. Due to keen interest in ERP systems he learnt how much valuable an ERP system can be for an organisation.

He observed that an enterprise wide integrated software can change the entire approach towards business and add lots of value to business. But such systems were beyond reach of the Small and Medium sector. He thus decided to open a software company that would design, develop and implement integrated software for SME sector at affordable rates. Thus Innovia Software was born in 2001.

Mr. Chavan did a professional course in Software Technology in order to understand its nitty-gritty. Today Mr. Chavan is an expert in engineering related software systems and guides Innovia Software in it's endeavor to provide the best possible to its customers.

He is a senior Electrical Engineer with excellent track record of 30 Years in industry which include 15 in employment in Light Engineering - L&T (6 Yr.), Consumer Durables - Nihon (2 Yr.), Tractors - Eicher (3 Yr.), Projects - Essar Oil (4 Yr.). Out of these, Nine years were in managerial positions in the area of supply chain, last 4 being head of the Materials and Logistics Function. He is on his own for last 11 Yrs as an independent consultant. He had good academics as an engineer and a specialist in Materials Management with distinction and rank at national level. He is a professional speaker/ program leader on Supply Chain Management and has researched the latest trends and practice in last ten years in Indian context, imparting knowledge in various forums like, CII, FICCI, IIMM, IMC, BMA, MSC, NITIE including in-house trainings for many large manufacturing companies and many reputed management Institutes in Mumbai. He has worked on various jobs of product development, vendor development, inventory management, spare-parts management, production/ engineering purchasing in various industries; ship repairs, new project site set-up, project movement including import and exports, technology management, management audit and business process improvement and development and implementation of supply chain software systems have tested his technical and management abilities.
